SLHC: Session 2

July 12 - July 17

Information Package & Weekly Schedule: Approximately one week before your session, you will receive your Information Package by email. This package includes everything you need to know before arriving at camp, including:

Your child’s weekly schedule
Group assignment
Registration information
Important camp details and reminders

If you do not receive your Information Package, please check your Spam or Junk folder first. This is especially common with Hotmail, Outlook, and Live email addresses.

Group Assignments: For 2026, group assignments are based on the number and ages of participants registered in each session. As a general guideline:

Group A: Birth years 2018/2017 and younger
Group B: Birth years 2017–2015
Group C: Birth years 2015/2014 and older

Birth years may overlap slightly between groups to help balance enrollment and ensure the best possible experience for all participants. These groupings are guidelines only and indicate the group your child will most likely be assigned to.

Off-Ice Program: In addition to our daily on-ice instruction, the 2026 SLHC program features a wide variety of age-appropriate off-ice activities designed to develop well-rounded athletes both on and off the ice.

Activities may include:

Dryland and physical training
Team-building activities
Leadership and character development
Anti-bullying education
Nutrition and healthy lifestyle sessions

Activities are flexible throughout the week to accommodate each group’s schedule, weather conditions, and overall camp flow. Beginning in 2026, the Angling Clinic, which was previously offered as a separate Monday session, has been fully integrated into Group C’s on-ice instruction throughout the week.

Team Days: The final two days of camp continue many of these off-ice activities in a team-based environment, with an increased focus on teamwork, communication, and game preparation. These activities are incorporated into your child’s daily schedule and help conclude the week with a fun and engaging team experience.
