The West Central Wildcats have teamed up with the Sylvan Lake Hockey Camp to host the inaugural “Wildcat Girls Hockey Jamboree” on Saturday April 28th at the NexSource Centre in Sylvan Lake! It will be a FREE, full day of fun, for the first 120 girls, ages 5 to 17 years, who register. Activities will include, age and skill specific on ice sessions, a 3 on 3 mini tournament, along with off ice pound and yoga sessions. Eligible girls will be anyone interested in playing girls hockey, from non players and/or beginners of any age, to the most seasoned veterans of the game.
The emphasis is on fun and the goal is to grow girls hockey in the West Central Wildcats Girls Hockey Regional HUB. Because of this, registrants must reside within the Rocky Mtn. House, Caroline, Eckville, Spruce View, Sylvan Lake, Bentley and Rimbey Minor Hockey Associations boundaries.
