The program stresses basic fundamentals starting with and emphasizing skating. As the week progresses, in addition to the daily power skating session, the on-ice program consists of puck handling, passing, shooting and team play. We also have a contact confidence station where the student learns to angle, give and take a check. Off ice students participate in daily classroom and dry land training programs that are directly tied in with their work on the ice that particular day.
