I grew up in a small town, right across the road from the rink and I was fortunate enough to be able to go play shinny any time I wanted to. Hockey is a big part of my family and as kids my brother and I spent a lot of our free time at the rink.
I also grew up surrounded by a hockey atmosphere and I now take pride in having a position that allows me to be able to give back to the game I love.
